SEMESRA had participated in Public and Choral Speaking Competitions for the Rembau District secondary schools which were held in SMK Agama Dato' Haji Abu Hassan Haji Sail on 24 April 2013.
The school's representative in the Public Speaking Competition, Adam bin Junus was able to grab the top spot and this enables him to represent the district for the State Public Speaking Competition.

The choral speakers also made SEMESRA proud when they bagged the champion title for the second consecutive year.
