Spell It Right Challenge 2011

Last Saturday, 10 students from SEMESREA had participated in the Spell-it-right Challenge State Level 2011. The competition was held at Seremban Parade and the event started around 9 a.m.

There were 15 groups altogether and participants were given a word to spell for each turn. If the students were unable to spell the word given correctly, they would be eliminated from the round.

Out of 10 students, one of them was able to qualify himself into the final round. Muhammad Ammar was able to get himself into the final round when he managed to snatch the first place position in his group.

However, in the final round he was unable to place himself among the top 3. Nevertheless, he went home with RM 200 and a certificate for being able to be in the top 15.

Well done, Ammar. And for the rest of the team, do not despair. Try again next year.
